Netlink is currently seeking a Web Design team member.
DCS Netlink is
seeking a Web Design Team Member, with a strong graphic
background, to develop and design client websites and assist in the
planning and implementation of marketing plans and material
including, but not limited to, graphic design, Flash demos,
internet-based communication, as well as advertising and promotional
programs for marketing and advertisement.
Responsibilities:
-
Develop and design websites for clients
-
Work with team to create
marketing plans.
-
Create and maintain marketing
materials for company, proposals, including brochures, business
cards, flyers, postcards and radio advertising, and the company
websites.
-
Format and publish external
mail and email campaigns and other presentations.
-
Work with internal and
external team members to periodically update the look and feel
of marketing material.
-
Handles other special projects
as requested.
-
Collaborates with other staff to
plan, analyze, organize and execute assigned projects.
Required Skills:
-
Minimum of 1 year in web application development,
web page design and web graphics, must provide portfolio of
published projects.
-
Expert in HTML code development
-
Strong background in CSS development
-
Knowledge of aesthetics - colors, flow patterns,
balance, positive/negative space
-
In depth knowledge of graphic design and documentation
management.
-
Must be aware of online
accessibility issues and have experience working to W3C
accessibility guidelines.
-
Proficiency with business and graphics software,
including Macromedia Flash, Paint Shop Pro (Corel) Microsoft
Office Suite, including PowerPoint and MS FrontPage (MS Web
Expressions).

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
with internal and external contacts at all levels.

Ability to interface with management positions at
all levels.

Excellent project management skills with the
ability to meet deadlines.

Creative self-starter with good graphic design
and layout skills.

Experience with
VB Script, ASP and ASP.Net with database connections a plus
Education or Formal
Training:
-
Associate
Degree in Web Design, Graphic Design or Communications,
Marketing or related field; or like experience.

Specialized
training in HTML programming, graphics design, marketing and
documentation management.

in web and IT and discuss / suggest solutions to fulfill their
needs
