DCS Netlink is currently
seeking a Web Developer
About the Position:
As a Web Developer at DCS Netlink, you’ll be developing web-based
applications using ASP.NET, ASP, and SQL. Projects might include
building custom and e-commerce websites, integrating with web
services and API’s, and managing e-mail. You will be involved with
clients through the whole process, including interfacing with
clients to determine technical requirements, creating online
applications, creating appropriate data and software architecture,
coding, testing, QA, documentation and ongoing maintenance and
support. Ultimately, our success is measured in the satisfaction of
our clients, so to succeed here you must possess not only
programming skills but also strong teamwork and communication
skills.
Responsibilities:

Develop and design websites and Online Web
Applications for clients

Collaborate with other staff to plan, analyze,
organize and execute assigned projects.
Required Skills:
-
Expert in HTML code development
-
Experience with VB Script, ASP and ASP.Net
-
Experience with relational databases
-
Experience in JavaScript, Flash/ActionScript
-
Experience with SharePoint Server
-
Experience with Ecommerce and Content
Management Systems
-
Strong background in CSS development
-
Minimum of 1 year in web application
development, web page design and web graphics, must provide
portfolio of published projects

Knowledge of aesthetics - colors, flow
patterns, balance, positive/negative space
-
In depth knowledge of graphic design and
documentation management
-
Must be aware of online accessibility issues
and have experience working to W3C accessibility guidelines
-
Proficiency with business and graphics
software, including Macromedia Flash, Paint Shop Pro (Corel)
Microsoft Office Suite

Excellent verbal and written communication
skills with internal and external contacts at all levels

Ability to interface with management positions
at all levels

Excellent project management skills with the
ability to meet deadlines

Creative self-starter with good graphic design
and layout skills

Education or Formal Training:

Degree in Web Design, Computer Programming or
similar program, or like experience

Specialized training in HTML programming
